Neetu Chandra using her own scale to measure success

Neetu Chandra who made her Bollywood debut with the Garam Masala has not made large strides in the industry but she has sure taken some baby steps. She played an airhostess in her debut movie but failed to make a mark with her mark. She went into a hiding for a year and then was back with Traffic Signal in which she put in a good performance. She even went on to live on the streets to get into the character for the movie.

Even after that movie she did was not able to sign a script which showed her in the lead and gave her a role which would be meaningful to the overall plot. She even did an item number in the movie Summer 2007.After that things changed a bit and she got the character of Sonal in the movie Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye! The movie went on to be the biggest blockbuster and got her the appreciation she was looking for.

Her recent movie 13B also did well at the box office but things still have not changed for the girl from Bihar. Even after going through the struggling phase she has still not managed to get a meaty role. She is still waiting for a script that will allow her to show her true acting prowess. The actress though seems satisfied and says that she has made it bid. It seems like she is using some other scale to measure her success.

She is having four movies in her bag now although her role in each movie is what matters. The roles are as insignificant as they get. There are movies like Khussar Prasad Ka Bhoot and Mumbai Cutting. She is also having an untitled movie with director Vipul Shah.
