Neha Dhupia might have given the celluloid in Bollywood amiss but she was up to something bigger than what she has been doing over here. The lady with help of Tabrez Noorani was able to audition for the role of Alima Lakhani in the movie Bollywood Hero. For all those who do not know Tabrez was a line producer in the movie Slumdog Millionaire and is a good friend of Neha. The moviemakers found her apt for the role and signed her on.

The movie will see Neha sharing the screen space with Chris Katta and Julian Sanda. Chris was seen in Saturday Night Live .Chris who wants to make it big it as a hero comes in search of an offer to Mumbai. The character Alima Lakhani that she is playing in the movie is a hugely popular Bollywood actress. When finally Chris gets a project, he stars opposite the hugely popular actress Alima played by Neha.

The shoot for the movie began in March and they are planning to release the movie in the first week of August. Neha who has had a career with some good performances was not able to break into the nig league. This movie might give her that opportunity. There is no other release for Neha this year and she would have dedicated all her time into this one. She will be hoping that the audiences will like her character in the movie.

The year 2008 was good for her with some good meaty performances in movies like Singh Is Kinng, Mithya and Dasvidaniya. She will be hopping that her only movie releasing this year Bollywood hero would be liked by the audiences.
