Neil Nitin Mukesh recently expressed his disappointment when his last movie Aa Dekhen Zara flopped at the box office when the multiplexes decided at the last moment not to screen the movie. Neil has decided to cover up for the loss and has gone maybe a step too far in his next release Jail. Madhur Bhandarkar is directing this one and he is known to show the real life stuff on the celluloid.

A scene in the movie required Neil to shoot completely nude and he was initially hesitant Madhur convinced him saying that the shoot will be done aesthetically and wit will not look vulgar when the audiences see it on the screens. Neil after shedding those initial inhibitions dropped his pants and went ahead with the shoot. Actually, in the scene Neil is tortured when he first enters the jail.

The top angle was used to shoot the scene so that Neil would feel more comfortable. Beside the actors, only the director and the cinematographer were present in the room. They added the scene after listening to the experiences of the inmates that they visited in the jail. Neil even had to darken his skin to match that of the prisoners in jail, as they are not exposed to sun light.

The scene was necessary to show the kind of torture and humiliation that a prisoner undergoes when he enters. Though Madhur has made sure that the scene does not leave a bad taste in the mouth of the audiences what remains to be seen whether the scene will once again wake up the moral police who might find something or the other wrong with it.
