Neil Nitin Mukesh seems to have gotten on a role with his previous movie New York turning out to be a smash hit with the audiences. The actor seems to be a hot property and seems to be flooded with exciting offers and scripts. However, with so much on your plate turning down a three-film contract from Percept Pictures Company does not seem to be a wise thing to do.

His manager confirms that he did indeed turn down the offer. However, just a little more digging into the topic and you find out that it was because of the history of the deal that he turned down the offer. What actually happened was that Percept Pictures signed him for a three movie deal after he became a star with his movie Johnny Gaddar doing relatively well at the box office.

Jail was the first of the three movies to be made. However, with his next movies like Aa Dekhen Zara flopping Percept Pictures pulled out of the deal and settled with him by paying him the signed amount for Jail. Now with Neil once again making a comeback to stardom with New York, Percept Pictures once again wanted to renew the deal and cash in on his success.

Neil however turned them down citing lack on faith in his abilities previous time as the primary reason. Even though the production house was offering him a higher price to him from last time, he still did not bulge from his decision not to work with them. Only time would tell whether it was wise to make decision based on pride and self-esteem.
