Sonam Kapoor made her mark with her first flick Saawariya and now is waiting for her next release Delhi 6.The movie has built a large amount of hype and Sonam is confident that it will live up to it. Lately she has been a bit busy attending all the parties thrown for the success of her father’s Slumdog Millionaire. Anil Kapoor plays a game show host in the movie. Sonam was also seen on the cover page of various beauty magazines.

The movie displays the glamorous side of Sonam. She says her Punjabi upbringing helped her with her dialogues in the movie. She also said that she had a good time shooting with Abhishek. There have been rumors of rift between Ash and Sonam not because of Abhishek. First Ash was to play Sonam’s character in Saawariya but the role went to Sonam, as they required a younger girl to play the part. Then after the movie, Sonam signed a deal with Loreal, a brand that Ash endorses.

However, Sonam comes out with the clarification that all is well with the two women and there are no hard feelings. She says they are endorsing two different products of the same brand. It seems that Sonam has talent on screen and she is able to brush aside the rumors created by the media. It is good for her to be able to keep out of controversies and concentrate on her career.
