Yesteryear hit comedy flick, Dilli Ka Thug, directed by S. D. Narang and written by Ranjan Bose was released in the year 1958. The movie starred Kishore Kumar and Nutan Behl in lead roles while Iftekhar, Smriti Biswas, Amar, Madan Puri, Ratna and Minoo Mumtaz also played significant characters in the film. The hit romantic music of the movie was composed by the well known veteran music director Ravi while the songs were crooned by Kishore Kumar, Geeta Dutt, Asha Bhonsle etc.

The movie starts with a guy named Kishore ( Kishore KUmar ), who is a gambler by profession and makes his living by tricking people. His mother reveals about it and confront him. He then decides to find a job and therefore visits Mumbai. There he come across a beautiful girl named Asha ( Nutan ) and falls in love with her. Kishore gets a job in a firm but little does he knows is that the firm owner, Anantram is the killer of his father. The actual business of Anantram is of manufacturing suprious medicines. Rajendra Kumar and Jamuna starrer romantic family drama, Hamrahi, was released in the year 1963. The movie was directed by T. Prakash Rao. The other starcast of the movie includes Mehmood, Rajendra Nath, Shashikala, Dhumal, Lalita Pawar, Nasir Hussain, Heera Sawant and Shubha Khote also played significant characters in the film. The hit evergreen music of the movie was directed by the hit veteran music director duo Shankar Jaikishen while the songs were beautifully sung by Mohammed Rafi, Lata Mangeshkar etc.

Shekhar ( Rajendra Kumar ) is living a wealthy lifestyle alongwith his parents and an elder brother named Mahesh ( Mehmood ) and younger sister Sarla. Mahesh is an advocate by profession while Mahesh’s wife Shanti ( Shubha Khote ) is a house wife. Shekhar is a womenizer and his parents always gets angry with him for his bad habits. Shilpa Shetty is a bollywood bombshell who is more famous for her perfect figure as compared to her acting talents. She was born on June 8, 1975 in Manhlore. Her father name is Surendra Shetty while mother name is Sunanda. Her uounger sister, Shamita Shetty is also a renowned bollywood actress. Shilpa did her schooling at St. Anthony Girls High School and later attented Pador College in Mataunga for completing her graduation. She is a trained Bharatnatyam dancer and also black belt in Karate. She has a strong hold on different languages like Hindi, English, Tamil, Kannada etc.

She started off her career as a model and did an ad film for Limca at the age of just sixteen. She made her debut in the bollywood industry with a action thriller flick, Baazigar opposite Shahrukh Khan. Though she played second fiddle in the film but her performance was appreciated by everyone. She then did a full feldged role in 1994 released Aag in which she was paired opposite Govinda. She came into limelight with a movie titled Main Khiladi Tu Anari in which she worked alongside Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan. The movie starred Jeetendra and Saira Banu in lead roles while Danny Denzongpa, Padma Khanna, Ramesh Deo, Mohan Chhoti, Ranjeet, Iftekhar and Satyendra Kapoor also played important characters in the film. The hit melodious music of the movie was composed by the well known music director duo Laxmikant Pyarelal while the songs were rendered by Kishore Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar etc.

Younga and handsome, Ravi ( Jeetendra ) is involved in some criminal activties and he makes his living throuh these activities. He realizes that he has had enough and therefore decides to go straight. He get a job as a manager in a small firm. He meets with a beautiful girl there named Reena ( Saira Banu ) and eventually falls in love with her. He cracks open a safe in order to save the life of local police chief’s daughter. The movie starred Kishore Kumar and Supriya Chaudhary in lead roles while Nana Palsiker, Leela Mishra, Amit Ganguly, Iftekhar, Raj Mehra, Sajjan and Shashikala also played important characters in the film. The melodious music of the movie was directed by Kishore Kumar himself and the songs were rendered Hemanta Mukherjee, Asha Bhonsle etc.

Kishore, who was famous for his superb comic timing actually shown his serious side in the movie. The story of the movie revolves around a father and son relationship. Kishore displayed his excellent acting skills in the film and was equally supported by the Supriya Chaudhary. Supriya played the female lead in the film. Kishore surprised everyone with his serious acting in the film. He played the role of a confusing son in the film, who is very attached to his father.
