Now for all those who do not recollect who Palak is, think the girl who was the top ranked in the controversy section in the last season of the reality show Roadies. Palak a.k.a Gurpreet Kaur left an impression on the audiences. Good or bad, she left a memory in the minds of the audiences and that matters. She has bagged herself a role in the movie also. She will next be seen in the movie Kisaan.

The moive is scheduled to release on 17 July with Sohail Khan playing the lead in the movie. Puneet Sira has directed the movie. In the movie, Palak will play a short play. Her character will be that of a village girl who lives a very unprivileged life. This will not be her first time on the silver screen though. She has earlier appeared in the song Bhootni Ke from the movie Singh Is Kinng.

That was before she made it to Roadies. Now she seems to be following a good route. People will be hoping to get some nice dialogues out from her mouth contrary to all the abuses that we are all used to from the show roadies where every word coming out of her mouth was an abusive one. When asked about her rival Tamanna she did not say much but said that that all knew who was right and wrong.

No one has the right to make judgments on me she said. Well it looks like the Roadies is proving a launching pad for many people. The makers of the show Ranvijay and Raghu are also all set to make their debut on the silver screen.
