Preity Zinta might have less movies being released recently but she still did not have any shortage of the limelight due to the IPL. She has herself confessed that she has grown up and is looking for different scripts than what she did at the start of her career. Now that she has made her mark and in fact, more than that she has an option of choosing from a wide variety of scripts.

She says that you want to do movies for which you will be remembered and ones to which you can look back after ten years and say that you are feel good that you did this one. One such movie she is hopeful that will make that list is Videsh. Deepa Mehta has directed the movie and it shows the plight of a woman from Punjab living in Canada. There are reports saying that this is the best work she has done in her career.

Preity admits about the growing competition in the industry these days. You cannot run away from this fact. New people are going to come and will replace somebody. There were people before me whose position I took and now there is this inflow of talent, which you just cannot ignore. She says that she has been recently rejecting many roles that these young actresses are taking. She says that a certain point you do not want such roles because you have set higher goals for yourself.

From the looks of it, she sure has set her aim high and is striving hard for achieving it. She will be desperately hoping that the audiences appreciate the hard work put in the movie Videsh.
