Moreover, so far it has been a good outing with India leading the five match series 2-0 with a game also ending in no result due to rain. She was recently invited to a reception hosted by the Prime Minister on New Zealand My. John Key.

After the meeting with the Prime Minister she said that he was a very down to earth and humble man. The Prime Minister we hear is also very popular with the masses in New Zealand. The reception was made in the honor of visiting Indian team. Mr. Key had some apprehensions about sending the New Zealand players to India for the IPL matches after the recent terror strike in India and Pakistan.

Preity being the proud Indian convinced the PM about the safety of their players in India and the capability of our valiant and brave soldiers in stopping any such event from occurring. She also condemned the recent attack on Sri Lankan players in Pakistan and said that the act was a shameful one and the men who did this should be punished.

She said that her prayers were with players and their families. She said that she felt relieved when she heard that Sangakarra and Jayewardene were fine and that the whole team had escaped with just minor injuries when it could have been a lot worse. The lady surely does no mincing with words and knows what she is saying. Hope she would bring luck to the Indian team in the future matches also.
