The director Prem Soni who makes his debut with Main Aurr Mrs Khanna is trying hard to get rid of the feeling of numbness but noting seems to be working for him. He is eagerly waiting as to what the audience response to his movie would be. In the last interview he gave, he talked about how he had to do his share of persuasion to convince Preity Zinta to do the part of Haseen Jagmagiya.

Never in her career, she had done that sort of a role before and again she was having her reservations before she said yes to this one. After a lot of thinking she said why was she thinking so hard and she laughed while saying yes and got on board. The director insists that although Preity is a part of the dance number Happening there is more to her charcter in the movie than that. She comes into her own when Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor are on the brink of either a makeup or a break up.

He also said that he holds nothing against the item girls but calling Preity that would be very derogatory remark. He knew from the very beginning that Preity was the one for the part and he was hell bent on getting her on board. When asked whether Sohail brought in and extramarital angle he divulged the details saying that in the movie there are no cheating partners.

It is the viewpoint Sohail and Salman have of Mrs. Khanna and that is how both of them are a part of the Main in the title. He was happy to see that the curiosity factor that they wanted to see in the audiences was there before the release.
