The song seems to have been copied from the track Naluri lelaki that has been composed by the Samsons. Pankaj Awasthi who has sung the song for Pritam in the movie made the revelation that the track has been copied. When he made the comments on the net, he never would have guessed the ramifications of his act.

He has withdrawn the comments and has apologized but the damage had been done by then and now Pritam is in a state of depression. He is having sleepless night due to the allegations. He has said in his defense that he openly admitted when his music in the movie was inspired from the composition of others but this time he is ready to vow that he has not copied anything.
