Now in the past, there have been instances where a song was added or deleted from a movie but Pritam has made a startling revelation. He said that he had to do the entire music of the movie Love Aaj Kal all over again when after the first viewing he himself though that it would not work. He gave his response to Imtiaz Ali who instead of freaking out gave him ample time to recreate the entire music all over again.

Now the reason to their calmness also came from the fact that the strike at the, multiplexes was on and they had time before the movie released.nwo the first and foremost thing that he did was introduce a love ballad in the movie which was missing. Like most of the music, it was over phone that the ballad Aaj din chadhiya was added to the movie. Main kya hoon also received second touches and the pace of the song underwent some changes.

The only number that stood the test of time was twist and remained unchanged. Even after all the music was redone, Pritam felt the need of a raunchy and an item number just as he did Mauja Mauja in the movie Jab We Met. That very reason led to the most played track at the moment that is Aahun Aahun.

They tried to get the rights of this folk song but soon found out that 18 singers had sung so now that have just given the name traditional in the artists place. They are hopeful that nobody will come forward and stake a claim to the song. All the hard work put in the second time around seems to have paid off.
