Priyadarshan has decided to make a film to spread awareness about AIDS. The movie is going to have a running time of around 2 hours. The filming for the movie is heard to begin in August. The director says that as the movie is about a social cause he will be charging less. He says that he charges the producer according to the project. He says that he charges less if the movie is for a social cause or for a movie like Taare Zameen Par.

Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal will be seen in the movie. Both the actors have decided to work in the movie without even charging a single penny. This will be the first movie in which Akshay will be working without charging anything. The price cut has nothing to do with the recession or the failure of his last movie Chandni Chowk To China at the box office.

Recently Mr. K.V. Nair saw Priyadarshan’s latest flick Kanjeevaram and liked it very much. The director was very happy from the appreciation coming from this critic. He said that his father never liked the kind of films he made. He has decided to make more movies like this from now on. He also talks about the statement made by the producers that recession has hit the industries. He says that it is true but the producers are using it excessively to pay less to the workers including the actor and the directors.
