Priyanka Chopra will not disagree when we say that 2008 was the best year in her career. She is still basking in the glory of the movies Dostana and Fashion. The actress has even won seven awards for the two movies and one of them is Nielsen Box Office Award that she was awarded at the Third Annual Asian Film Awards, which were hosted at Honk Kong. She got the award for outstanding contribution to the cinema in Asia.

Winning an international award like this at such an early stage in your career feels great said the actress. It feels nice when your hard work is appreciated .an award has the stamp of approval that your work has been liked by the audiences. The actress has also won the best actress award in the recently held Star Screen Awards as well as the Stardust Awards.

With the start, she has had at these award nights she can expect one more at the IIFA this year. The actress did not forget to mention the technician and co-stars who she said were a major contributor for her success. She has come a long way since she made her debut after winning the Miss World crown in the year 2000.

This year also she is having some big budget movies to be released .There is What’s Your Raashee? being directed by Ashutosh Gowariker and then there is Kaminay being directed by Vishal Bhardwaj. Both the movies have already been in lot of news. Kaminay has made news for the double role by Shahid Kapoor and the image makeover of Priyanka. What’s Your Raashee has been in the news because of Harman Baweja who seems to be feeling out of sorts at this moment with no good news.
