Priyanka Chopra who is a former miss world and has made a name for herself in the industry as one of the top actress recently revealed that during her growing up days there were restriction laid upon her as to what clothes she could wear. Now that sounds very odd considering the fact that she is known for her sense of style and that she was a model. In the movie Dostana, she was seen making style statements in those short skirts.

The actress comes from the town of Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh and that gives some answers as to whys he had restrictions. Now the difficult part in all this was all this happened after she came back from the Unites States where she had gone to complete her high school. So after having an encounter with their lifestyle and fashion culture it can be pretty hard when you come back.

She was not allowed to wear denim jeans forget about the short skirts and all. Her mother gave her 12 pairs of Salwar Kameez and she would rotate those and wear them to the college every day. The reason her mother did that was that guys used to follow her whenever she went out in the western outfits.
