Priyanka Chopra has been in the news much lately mostly for her critically acclaimed performance that she put in her movie Kaminey. In addition, there have been stories about her professionalism and how she left her holiday mid way to do the dubbing for her movie What’s Your Rashee? Now ate a recent function that she attended all of us got to see the humanitarian side of Priyanka.

The ring flashing on her finger was hard to miss. Do not jump to conclusions she is not engaged rather the ring had Save the Children engraved on it. The ring costs somewhere around Rs. 20000 but is of much more vale. She had the ring on her finger as she has pledged her support to Rewrite the Future, which is a project that tries to raise funds for the education of children. The project has been started by the international fashion brand Bulgari.

The project is now into 125 years and that is a long time for a project to be going on. They defend the rights of the children and try to provide them education so that they too have a chance of a bright future ahead of them. Priyanka also mentioned that it is these small steps that we are taking today that will help these children in a big way tomorrow.

The organization has its footprints in close to 100 countries and celebs like Ben Stiller, Mischa Borton, Terrance Howard, Julianne Moore and many others have pledged their support to the project. They aim to educate 8 million children in the conflicted areas of the world by 2010.
