The kind of career graph Purab Kohli has had is not quite, what you want to see. However, looking where he is today anybody would take it. He started by the television show Hip Hip Hurray and then went on to become a VJ. He then made his debut on the silver screen with Supari with a small role. His big break came with Rock On.

After playing the character of KD in the movie, life seems to have changed dramatically for him. He felt disappointed for not being nominated in the recently held Filmfare awards after a performance like that. However when he was called on stage by Shabana Azmi to honor his performance it was the greatest achievement for him and he also felt nice since finally he got the recognition one strives for.

He has also not been afraid of experimenting with different kind of role. He played a gay in the movie My Brother Nikhil and his performance in the movie Woh Lamhe is also worth mentioning. His experimental nature can be seen from the fact that he instantly decided to ding the song I will survive when his director asked him to do so in Rock On.

What the fans want to know is what he is planning after the success of Rock On. He is a part of A Rectangular Love Story, which is being directed by Rajat Kapoor. Apart from that, there is Rangeen in which he has again been caste opposite Koel Puri. He has also expressed his desire to be a part of action flick like Ghajini and he would preferably like the movie to be directed by Sanjay Gupta.
