Bollywood romantic adventure drama flick, Pyar Mohabbat, directed by Shankar Mukherjee was released in the year 1966. The movie starred Dev Anand and Saira Banu in lead roles while David Abraham, Pram Nath, Sulochana Latkar, Shashikala, Asit Sen, Durga Khote, Jankidas and Harindranath Chattopadhyay also played significant characters in the film. The hit music of the movie was directed by the veteran music director duo Shankar Jaikishen while the songs were crooned by Mohammed Rafi, Manna Dey, Asha Bhonsle etc.

Naresh Kumar Singh ( Dev Anand ) is a Prince of a region, who is fed of his wealthy lifestyle and wants to live a common man’s life. He runs away from his house and calls himself as Dilip Singh. He come across a beautiful girl named Reeta Singh ( Saira Banu ) during his travel in a ship. After initial misunderstanding, Dilip and reeta falls in love with each other. Dilip then returns to his home where he get shocked to find out that his brother, Rana Mahesh Kumar ( Murad ) is dead and his mother is blind. He learns that the guy to be crowned as next prince is Senapati Uday Singh ( Premnath ).

He reveals that Uday Singh has killed his brother Naresh. Uday come across Dilip and decides to present him as Naresh in front of his mother. Little does Uday knows is that Dilip hemself is the real prince of the region. What will happen next?
