Since the night, A.R.Rahman won those two Oscars things have changed. He knows that people are using his name to make money and yet he has kept his silence. He is not a fool not to know how people in his own country are using his name to cash in on a few quick bucks but he is taking it all in his stride and has not taken any action against any of it.

Recently an author named Kamini Mathai went over the board saying that the biography that she has written on the life of the musical Mozart will be the first authorized one. Maybe there was some lack of communication but Rahman had made it clear that it is not an authorized biography. What is so shocking in this incident is tha fact that a reputed publishing house like Penguin India did not come out with a clarification.

Rahman has though made it clear that in no way is the biography an authorized one. So now that the record has been set straight he also revealed that he has some plans about how he will be releasing his biography when he pens it down. Well since he has not written it, yet nothing can be said but it will be interesting read getting into the mind of the maestro.

As of now if you want to read anything about Rahman’ life the only book out there is A R Rahman: The Musical Storm .The biography sure has lived up to the name even before it is released. Whether authorized or not the author did in the end manage to generate the hype around the novel.
