Rajesh Khanna has been credited with the honor of being the first superstar of the Bollywood. There were actors and popular ones I must say before that but the fan following that Rajesh Khanna saw in his time was unprecedented. Everything he did used to turn into a rage with the generations of his time. He will now be honored and felicitated with the Lifetime Achievement award at the IIFA awards being held in Macau.

He has already been awarded the same award by the Filmfare. His contribution to the Indian cinema has been huge. He made his debut with the movie Aakhri Khat but came to be known for his performances in the movies like Sachcha Jhuta, Aradhana, Anand, Avtar and Kati Patang. The talent in him as an actor was discovered through a talent contest, which was done all over India.

Also revealed at the IIFA was the teaser of the movie Do Knot Disturb that has been directed by David Dhawan. In the movie, playing the lead will be Govinda along with the likes of Riteish Deshmukh, Sohail Khan, Sushmita Sen, Lara Dutta, Ranvir Shorey and Rajpal Yadav. Once again, the pair of Govinda and David will try to tickle the funny bones of the audiences.

Tha last movie they were a part of was Partner and the movie was a huge money-spinner at the box office. The aim of David has always been to make the audiences to smile who come to theaters. Even if they forget their worried for a little while it is worth it. Vashu Bhagnani is confident that they will once again be able to make the audiences laugh.
