Rakeysh Om Prakash Mehra is trying to do a Francis Ford Cupola in India after he made changes to his movie Delhi 6 and the movie is now ready to be premiered at the very famous Venice Film Festival. Ever since the movie released and failed Rakeysh kept pondering over the reasons as to why the movie flopped.

He zeroed down on these major reasons. Firstly, he made changed the ending and brought Abhishek Bachchan back to life that he believes was a major error as in the original script he had opted for a sad ending. Then the experiment with the monkey man thing failed miserably as the people never got the metaphor that he was trying to use by showing the mirror.

Now he has reshot those portions and the audiences in Venice will get to see a different version of the movie than what we saw. Abhishek will die in this one in the end and the movie will start from a voice over saying that he is dead now and from there it goes back into time with the narration. He is hoping that like Cupola’s movie Apocalypse that after introducing some changes after being declared flop made history he might also meet the same fate.

He is back from his holiday that he spent with his family in Leh and Ladakh and now he will get to work on any one of the three projects that he has been scripting until now. He says that after making the creative changes in the movie he is sleeping more easily these days and is also excite with his movie being premiered along with some of the best movies in the world at Venice.
