Ram Gopal Varma is once again the centre of attraction and once again, he has been asked to remove something this time around it has to with the promotion of the movie rather than some material inside it. UTV Motion Pictures had put up hoarding promoting their movie Agyaat all over the city of Mumbai. Only a day or so after they had put up the hoardings the local residents in the area of Juhu, Andheri and Jogeshwari lodged a FIR against them.

Now they asked the makers to remove the dummy corpse that they had hung up along with the hoarding. The dummies were put up as a unique marketing plan. Not the innovation of theirs did not go the way as they intended as the people took them to be real corpses and got scared. The real intention was to show how people go missing in the movie after an unknown force comes after them.

Ram Gopal Varma said that it was an outdoor innovation, which they had tried as a marketing tool to create a mood before the movie releases. He said all this was done in good spirit and he did not mean to offend anybody. He also made sure that before putting up the hoarding they had made sure, that the hoardings be put up in a place where the vehicle drivers do not get distracted.

Ramu said that some might call him an irresponsible filmmaker but when it comes to responsibility as a citizen, he has a good civic sense. Now the hoardings did manage to grab the eyeballs and that is exactly what they were meant to do in the first place.
