First, it was Akshay Kumar and now Ram Gopal Varma has taken a jibe at the critics for slamming his latest movies Agyaat. He said that they have created such an image that you feel as if you have creates the worst movie of all time. He said people giving these reviews feel as if they were experts in cinema. He said this referring to Minty Tejpal of Mumbai Mirror.

He said that they tear apart the movie even if they while watching might have felt that it was not so terrible. He went and attacked minty further calling him peppermint saying that he got the job just because Mayank Shekar left maybe because he got a higher salary somewhere else. Therefore, he replaces him and to quickly rise he starts writing these nasty reviews.

He might have used these tactics after seeing the rise of Khalid Mohammed as a critic. He then took aim at Khalid saying that he referred to his movie Shiva twenty years ago as junk but he himself changed his words a decade later recalling the movie as a cult classic. He said that he sometimes wonders whether his brain worked ten years too late. Today he writes for a website and God knows how many people read his reviews.

He said that it is fine if the critic warns the audiences if he feels the movie is not worth watching but in no way should he ridicule or misinterpret the facts and affect the decision of the audiences. Many people have their livelihood affected by some irresponsible reviews and negligence.
