In the upcoming movie Rajniti directed by Prakash Jha, Ranbir Kapoor would be playing a US based NRI. He comes back to India after studying at Harvard to take over the political empire of his mother. He is absolutely charged up to start his schedule and has even done some long reading and speech sessions to prepare for the role, as he would be required to speak in front of huge crowds while rallying.

Recently Katrina Kaif gave a speech in front of 10000 plus audience in Bhopal. She carried of the act so well that Prakash Jha went on the stage to give her a hug. He even asked the live audience seated over there that whether she should be given a ticket from Bhopal for the upcoming general assembly elections. Her voice in this movie has not been dubbed unlike the case in Sarkar Raj.

The role that Ranbir will be portraying is quite similar to the role of Michael Corleone played by Al Pacino in Francis Coppla’s The Godfather or to that of Abhishek Bachchan in the movie Sarkar Raj where they enter their family businesses and take control of it. They do it for family honor although initially hesitant about the kind of work.

Ranbir has been in touch with the entire team and will join them in august after the general assembly elections. The movie also sees the likes of Ajay Devgan and Nana Patekar. In the movie, he will not be seen wearing khadi kurta-pyjama but rather he will be seen just like another person wearing casual wear. He will have to show the democracy of the country via his character says Jha.
