Earlier it was rumoured that bollywood’s latest heartthrob, Ranbir Kapoor will do the second male character of Mani Ratnam’s next. Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan are already been finalized for the project.

The movie is expected to be a love story with Abhi-Aish doing the lead roles. But now it’s almost clear that Ranbir is not doing the film. The character needs to be look older than Abhishek but Ranbir on the other hand looks much younger than him.

It is expected that Mani’s favourite actor Madhavan will do the role now. Madhavan was also seen in Mani’s last bollywood flick Guru with Abhishek and Aishwarya. So if all goes well then the trio will do their second film together.

But there is still no confirmation made yet from Mani Ratnam on Madhavan’s presence in the movie. But it’s clear that Ranbir will not be doing the role for him. Let’s see who will get finalized for the role by Mani sir.
