Ranbir Kapoor a few days back was seen dancing on the sets of Yashraj studios. The item number was for his movie Rocket Singh-Salesman Of The Year. The movie was not supposed to have and dancing numbers or songs initially but this one was added after Aditya Chopra advised Shimit Amin that it would be better if he had this song. The song has been composed by Salim-Suleiman and Ahmed Khan has choreographed the song.

Now all though the song required Ranbir to put up a party face and act as if he was having a blast of the floor he would have been heartbroken from inside. His grandmother passed away just a day before the shoot and he was known to be very close to his mom’s mother. She lived with him in his house and was always there in the room opposite to his room. Even though he was not in the right mindset but what has to be done has to be done.

So he took a day off and them completed the shoot of the song in the remaining two days as this was supposed to be a three day affair. The fact that Ahmed Khan was choreographing the song might have helped, as he is aware of his body language and the steps that he will be able to carry after working with him in two movies earlier that is Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani and Bachna Ae Haseeno.

Yashraj called in Ahmed at the last moment as they have a five-film contract with him and they called him up when they required his services.
