Ranbir Kapoor literally stood frozen in time during the shoot of his movie Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani. What actually transpired was Ranbir was to turn into a statue for one of the scene and it was during the shoot of that scene that he stood motionless for hours and it almost felt like an eternity for the actor. It is only after having an experience like this can one realizes the importance of freedom and what it means to walk around freely.

In the movie, Ranbir usually walks up to a statue, which is located in the hub of the town. He would go over there and talk to the statue and one day when he walks up to the statue he finds out that he was actually looking at his own image. The statue that he used to speak to so own had changed into him. Now doing a scene like this is never easy.

Now just consider the fact that for this particular scene the makeup man Vikram Gaikwad had to spend close to four grueling hours with Ranbir trying his level best to get the look right which he did achieve in the end. As far as Ranbir was concerned, the actual hard work was about to begin as he was required to stand in the same spot for hours without making slightest of movements.

Once he completed the shot and was given a thumbs up it was not surprising to see him walking everywhere around the sets as if he had been released from a prison after an eternity.
