This much-awaited film is based on a Marathi novel by Ranjit Desai on famous painter Raja Ravi Verma. The film casts Randeep Hooda and Nandana Sen in the main character. It is going to be released in both Hindi and English, appropriately titled as Rang Rasiya and Colors of Passion respectively. The film is going to hit the theaters very soon.
Raja Ravi Verma can be described as “the Painter among Princes, the Prince among Painters.”

Raja Ravi Verma, India’s most celebrated painter, used to sketch his thoughts with charcoal on the walls of the Kilimanoor palace in his childhood. Later he went on to extend his artistic views beyond the canvas. He began to give his imaginations, its goddesses and women real emotions, faces and bodies. He dared to bring art out of the boundaries of the temples and royal palaces and he really brought it close to the common man.

This legendary story of Raja Ravi Verma describes about his life and his relationship with Sugandha, his muse. Nandana Sen plays the character of Sugandha, the muse. She really radiates the obsession of Randeep Hooda, as the prince.

This film contains six melodious songs written by Manoj Muntashir. The composer is Sandesh Shandilya. Sonu Nigam and Sunidhi Chauhan have given voice to the song. The complexity of emotions of the narrative by Ranjit Desai has been beautifully translated onto the silver screen by Bulgarian cinematographers Balakov and Raltschev.

Cast: The cast of the film includes Randeep Hooda as Raja Ravi Verma and Nandana Sen as Sugandha. Among others there are Paresh Rawal, Deepti Naval, Vikram Gokhale, Sri Vallabh Vyas, Rachna Shah, Ashish Vidyarthi, Sachin Khedekar and Rajat Kapoor, Jim Boeven, Tom Alter.
