It’s been a long time when Rani Mukherjee and Abhishek Bachchan is doing a film together. The last movie which they have done together was superhit Bunty Aur Bubbly. The movie was the blockbuster indeed at box office window.

The story of the movie revolves around two sisters ( Rani Mukherjee and Konkona Sen Sharma) who live with their parents in Benaras. Anupam Kher and Jaya Bachchan are playing the role of parents. In search of a better life Rani heads to Mumbai, where she falls in love with Abhishek Bachchan. But there are also some dark secrets about her that may destroy their dream world.

After Abhi-Aish marriage this is actually the first time when Abhishek is doing any film with Rani Mukherjee. Earlier it was expected that Rani and Abhishek will tie the knot but then suddenly Aishwarya came in existence. And finally Abhishek married to Aishwarya rai.

Rani is playing a prostitute in the movie somewhat like Neha Dhupia has done in Julieearlier. This is also the first time when Abhishek Bachchan is doing any film with his mother Jaya Bachchan. Let’s see what magic Rani-Abhishek will create this time in Laaga Chunari Mein Daag.
