Ranvijay is making it clear that in no way he is taking his career as an actor lightly. We all know that he will be playing a part in London Dreams, which is being directed by Vipul Shah. He has now gone on and signed another movie titled Ekant. In the movie, he will be seen sharing the screen space with Mahesh Manjrekar.

Ekant will be a movie revolving around four college going boys. They land themselves in some trouble and the tackle it. Ranvijay who comes from a defense background rose to fame when he was part of the reality show Roadies. Though many think that he was the winner of Roadies show it was not the case. There was no winner in the first season rather there where only tasks. He went on to host all of the remaining seasons.

With each season, he saw his popularity increasing which may have a number of reasons from his cool attire and attitude to his performance in the tasks. Now that is all fine but the question that arises is will he be able to match the same standard when he come on the silver screen. He will surely be having his fans turning up at the theatres and decide his future on the silver screen.

Another MTV VJ who made it big on the silver screen is Malaika Arora Khan. Anushka and Sophie have tries their hand in movies like Viruddh and Pyaar Ke Side Effects but have failed to carry on. Will Ranvijay be an exception or will he fade away after sharing the limelight for a little while. Only time will tell the answer that question.
