Even though the movie Luck ran out of luck on the box office with poor reviews pouring in Ravi Kishen is someone who has come in for praise for his performance from the critics. He in an interview recently revealed that with the movies Luck and Raavan he is trying to remove the tag of Bhojpuri star from his name.

He says that it is not as if that he does not want to do Bhojpuri movies but he wants to be known in Hindi movies. He will continue to do close to five Bhojpuri in a year put of which two will be mad under his own production house. He had to lose close to 15 kgs before portraying his role sin these movies. That shows the amount of hard work he has put in.

He will be shooting the final portion of the movie Raavan alongside Abhishek Bachchan who has now become like a younger brother to him and that is the relationship they have in the movie. Ravi was particularly relived when Kamal Haasan praised his performance. In the movie, he plays someone who is violently in love with Shruti Haasan and behaves like a psychopath.

Getting appreciation from him felt like that he had graduated from Bhojpuri level of cinema to national level. It looks like the hard work for the actor is paying off with a legend praising his performance. He might not have won the Big Boss but he has fetched more from appearing on the show than anybody else with him.
