Imtiaz Ali in an interview recently made a shocking revelation as to how he and Saif Ali Khan went unnoticed or so to say escaped unharmed after actions that could have had serious ramifications during the shoot of Love Aaj Kal. Imtiaz never wanted to let the secret out but in a candid mood he spilled the beans during an interview. They intended to do a shoot in the Leadenhall Market, which is a very posh marker inside London.

However, when the requested for permission they were denied by the authorities. Imtiaz has gone on the record saying that redtapism in UK much more than in US. There are people who just go by the book and will in no way bend the rules. They do not even know as why they are replying in a particular way that is not much different in the way authorities behave over here.

However, Imtiaz took a chance and shot over there with no permission. They had their camera inside the van while they shot. And once they even lied to a police officer saying that they had official permission and he fell for it and in fact helped them during the shoot. When they failed to capture a woman passing by on a horse he requested the woman to please go back and come again. All the crew was behaving as if they were having a casual walk in the market.

The British authorities will not be a bit pleased when they discover out this fact.teh stringent rules are making it difficult for the filmmakers to shoot at certain locations. Rensil D’Silva and Abbas Tyrewala are the other ones who have found it tough to get the permission to shoot at certain locations.
