After Ram Gopal Varma is through with the release of his movie India 24 X 7 or Rann, he will without wasting any time start with the work of Rakta Charitra. That is the working title of his next movie and after having a hard time thinking whom to cast for the lead role he zeroed down on Vivek Oberoi. The movie is based on the life of Paritala Ravi.

Paritala Ravi was one of the most feared individual in the south until Suri assassinated him. His name used to send a shiver down the spine of law enforcing agency. He was a mass murderer as well as a robin hood. He went on to become a rebel after his father and brother was assassinated. The deaths of his loved ones turned this shy innocent person into one of the most feared person.

Suri was the one who ended the bloodbath when he killed Paritala Ravi to avenge his family death, which is very ironical. Vivek Oberoi is best suited to play the part as he has a high level of intensity in his eyes and he can hold the audiences with his dialogues. Vivek’s best performance until date came in the movie Shootout At Lokhandwala.

RGV is planning to make this movie in two parts just because of the sheer material that he has at his hand. He said that though he has read the biographies of people like Velupalli Prabhakaran, Pablo Escobar and Dawood Ibrahim it was the story of Paritala Ravi that intrigued him the most. He said that the movie is sure going to go down as one of his best works unless he really works hard to spoil it.
