Famous bollywood actor Ritesh Deshmukh was born on December 17, 1978 in Maharashtra. He is the son of former chief minister of Maharashtra, Vilas Rao Deshmukh. He made his debut with a romantic flick titled Tujhe Meri Kasam opposite beautiful Genelia D’Souza in the year 2003. However, the movie failed to do much at the box office. He first cam into limelight after his superb performance in comic caper, Masti in which stoo he starred opposite Genelia. His next movie was Bardaasht in which he played second fiddle opposite Bobby deol.

His one of the biggest hit film came in the form of sex comedy, Kya Kool Hain Hum, which also starred Tusshar kapoor, Neha Dhupia and Isha Koppikar. He superb comic timing in the film was appreciated by citics as well as the audience. He then did some other comedy flick as well in the form of Malamaal Weekly, Apna Sapna Money Money etc. He worked alongside Akshay Kumar and Fardeen Kapoor in the comedy flick, Heyy Baby. He gave another big hit film of his career in the form of the multistarrer Dhamaal. However, hsi next release De Taali was proved out to be a big flop at the box office.

His second fiddle performance in the Abhishek Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra starrer Bluffmaster was also appreciated by the audiences. He then did a role in action genre flick titled Cash, which failed to do well at the box office. His latest movie Do Knot Disturb is going to be released soon in which he has starred alongside Govinda, Lara Dutt and Sushmita Sen. He is also keeping his finger crossed for his fanstasy movie Aladin in which he will be seen alongside Megastar, Amitabh Bachchan. His another movie, Rann, of Ram Gopal Verma camp is also in the last stage of completion.
