Bollywood actor, Ritesh Deshmukh, was born on December 17, 1978 in Maharashtra, India. He is the son of Vilasrao Deshmukh, Chief Minister of Maharashtra. He started his acting career in the year 2003 with the movie titled Tujhe Meri Kasam opposite another debutant Genelia D’Souza. The film did average business at the box office.

But his first big hit came in the form of 2004 released comic caper Masti. He was accompanied by two another bollywood actor, Vivek Oberoi and Aftab Shivdasani, in the film. His comic timing in the movie was highly appreciated by the audiences. After the success of this film he got established as a well known comedy artist of the bollywood industry.

He then appeared in a series of comedy films including Kya Kool Hai Hum, Malamaal Weekly, Apna Sapna Money Money, Mr Ya Miss, Bluffmaster etc. He then also tried his hands in action flicks as well including Fight Club and Cash. But none of the two films did well at the box office. Then he once again turned towards comic films and starred in multistarrer Heyy Baby, Dhamaal and De Taali. Right now he is looking forward to his next film titled Aladdin And The Mystery Of The Lamp.
