Riya Sen and Raima Sen will be for the first time doing movie together. The movie has been adapted from Rabindranath Tagore’s Nauka Dubi. Rituparno Ghosh will direct the movie. The sad part is that they will not have even a single frame together in the movie. The reason we will only find out when the movie is released.

Unlike Raima, this is the first time that Riya is doing a Bengal movie. She will play the role of an ordinary Bengali housewife in the movie. She is very proud of the role and is all excited to talk to her grandmother Suchitra Sen about the role. She says that all this time she has been waiting for an opportunity to work in a movie like this. Now that the opportunity has finally arrived, she has decided to put her all into the making of this one.

Initially her voice in the movie was planned to be dubbed but once the director heard her speaking in Bengali it was decided that there was no need to have anyone else doing the dubbing for her. When Riya heard her own voice in Bengali, it felt like music to her ears also. It is great feat for her because actresses like Aishwarya Rai and Kiron Kher have had their voices being dubbed when working with Ritu.

She will be dressed in pure cotton saris and would be seen doing normal household chores. She loves cooking contrary to the image that people have in mind of hers. Rituparno Ghosh treats both the sisters as daughters and both are excellent on the sets he says.
