Sabbir Khan is happy with what he sees in his movie Kambakkht Ishq and is hopeful that the audiences will like it. However, at this time when there are hardly any movies that are doing good business he is got to be nervous. On top of that, the last two movies that Akshay Kumar has been a part of both have been flops. He is not fazed by the failure of Chandni Chowk To China and 8X10 Tasveer.

He says that there are phases in an actor’s career when he sees the downside but the experienced ones always make it through. It is not always a merry round but you expect a star like Akshay to bounce back any time. There are stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan and Tom Cruise who also had these phases. If they would have just went out when one of their movies flopped they would not have been a part of so many movies.

If given a chance he would work with Akshay again in his next movies just because of the kind of person, he is and the dedication he has to his work. He had earlier worked with Akshay when he was the assistant director in the movie Mujhse Shaadi Karogi. The movie will be releasing 3 July. He says the movie is a simple story printed on a large canvas.

When asked how did he felt directing the biggies like Sylvester Stallone, Brandon Routh and Denise Richards. He said it was an exciting experience but he could not just let the emotions overtake, as he had to manage things on the sets.
