Chak De Girl, Sagarika Ghatge aka Preeti Sabarwal, who managed to draw maximum eyeballs with her glam look in her very first film, has been signed by Percept Picture Company for their forthcoming film Raftaar. She will be paired opposite ’serial kisser’ tag holder, Emraan Hashmi.

The film is to be directed by ad film maker Shamin Desai. According to the sources, initially sexy damsel Esha Deol was supposed to do the film but later Sagarika managed to grab that film and the role as well. Sagarika is enrolled in the film because Esha was asking for a big price to do the film.

Reportedly, Sagarika will be seen in a full- fledged lead role in the film opposite Emraan. The other stars who are also working in the film are Neha Dhupia and Aditya Pancholi. The movie is supposed to be released next year.
