Saif Ali Khan was the star attraction of the stardust awards organized by Bunty Walia’s G.S. Entertainment. He performed on various hit numbers of the year 2007 including Hare Ram from Bhool Bhulaiyan , Dard e disco from Om Shanti om etc.

Saif started his perrformance at the stage with the track from his forthecoming movie Race. But the main news was that the actor refused to perform on a song from the movie Jab We Met. Initially, that song was in the list of Saif’s performance but he refused to do it.

The Mauja Hi Mauja from Jab We Met was choosen for the stage performance of Saif. However, Saif was not so interested about performing on that song as it was originally picturised on Shahid Kapoor. Shahid is the ex-boyfriend of his new found lady love Kareena Kapoor.

Shahid was rewarded by the critics award for the best actor for his brilliant performance in Jab We Met. It was also decided that Saif will give the best actress award to Kareena Kapoor. But Saif again turned down the offer. After that it was Raveen Tandon who gave award on the place of Saif.
