Farhan Akhtar began scripting for Voice From The Sky right after the completion of Dil Chahta Hai. The project is very special and close to heart for Farhan Akhtar. Now Farhan has finalised the cast for this movie.

Saif Ali Khan and Priyanka Chopra will be seen in the lead roles of the movie. However, Saif was not the first choice of Farhan for this film. Intially, Irrfan Khan was supposed to play the lead in the film.

But later Farhan decided that Saif looks more natural and appropriate for performing the lead. Also Saif became able to reestablish himself in hindi film industry only after the success of Farhan’s Dil Chahta Hai.

According to Farhan, Priyanka Chopra will be seen in a very different role in the movie from all of her previous ones. The story of the movie is supposed to based on a boy whose life gets totally changed after Priyanka and Saif’s arrival.
