Saif Ali Khan seems to be having a time of his life. First, he fell in love with Kareena Kapoor, then he had his own production house and now it looks like he has managed to bag the lead role for Dhoom 3, which will be made under the Yashraj banner. The movie will be third one in the series and the first two movies have lived up to the name dhoom and the hype. In the previous movies, Hrithik Roshan and John Abraham have played the bad guys to perfection.

Now since the time of release of the second movie there have been speculations about who will play the lead in the sequel .There were rumors doing tha rounds that Shahrukh Khan and Aamir Khan both will be playing the lead roles which turns out to be false. Though SRK was approached to play the role, he turned down the offer trying to keep away from action movies after his shoulder injury and due to unavailability of dates for a long time.

Saif who played the bad guy in race was the final picked to play the part, will have huge responsibility on his shoulders. What will be the USP of this one remains to be seen. In the first movie there was John riding the Hayabusa then there was Hrithik pulling of all those cool stunts playing the perfect thief. Saif would have to do a more than a good job to match the standards already set by the predecessors.

What will be interesting to watch in the coming days will be the fact that whether Kareena is approached to play the female lead.
