Salman Khan has been seen portraying many types of roles in his acting career in bollywood. Now, Salman will be seen in a new avatar in Samir Karnik’s forthecoming movie Heroes which was previously titled Mera Bharat Mahan. This would be the first time when Salman is portraying a Sikh character in his film.

Recently he was spotted with long locks and in a clean shaven pate. Salman has portrayed almost all sorts of characters in his filmi career but never seen in a sikh role. Infact this is the very first time, he will be spotted in a sikh role or in the getup of a Sikh.

The character he is playing in the film is of a Sikh soldier of Punjab. So it’s quite obvious that he wore a turban for giving reality to the character. And for making it possible, Salman has not shaved for almost three weeks. He has also visited, The Golden Temple in order to get involved in his character.

The movie also stars Sunny Deol, Mithun Chakraborty, Bobby Deol, Sohail Khan, Preity Zinta and Amrita Arora. The story of the movie is about a group of students who are on a trip for making a documentery film on India. The movie has been shot in the location like Ladakh and Chandigarh.
