Boney Kapoor recently came out with the clarification that Salman Khan did not cancel his trip to the US fearing that what happened with Shahrukh Khan might happen with him as well. He was to go the US to promote his next movie Wanted the promos of which have already been aired on screens. Now there have been several reports saying that Salman freaked out after the SRK questioning that happened at the Newark airport and refused to go over there.

However, Boney Kapoor has a completely different side of the story. He said that the terms and conditions of the agreement were not acceptable to them and that is the reason they cancelled the promotional trip. He set the record straight by saying that Salman was not even involved in the decision making the producers decided that it was best to cancel the trip.

There is no point dragging his name in all this. He also denied the reports, which claimed that he was scheduled to make an appearance in the New York on 3 September. These are also false and baseless reports. The movie is schedule to release on 18 September if all goes well.

However, the Madras high court recently came out with an order saying that the release will have to be postponed if the makers of the movie fail to pay nine crores to a Mumbai-based firm, which supplied the raw material to the makers of the movie. Failure to comply with the court orders will mean sad news for all the Salman fans who are eagerly awaiting his release. Prabhu Deva has directed the movie and it also stars Ayesha Takia.
