Sanjay Dutt earned Rs 38.25
It’s been a good news that Sanjay Dutt aka Munnabhai got released after a 37 day stint at Yerwada Jail. He earned wages of a total Rs 38.25 for his 37 days labour at Yerwada Jail. He has to weave bamboo chairs as his manual labour work in the jail.
The actor, who got famous to the whole nation for his Gandhigiri in Lage Raho Munnabhai, shows his same stuff at the jail too. He signified the dignity of labour as a tenet by accepting the amount he earned for his work in the jail.
Despite being a very good and successfull actor, he actually suffered a lot in his life. He was convicted under the Arms act in 1993 Mumbai bomb blast case and got sentenced to six year imprisonment by Tada court.
Along with all the other convicts in the jail, he managed to keep his head cool under difficult circumstances. He was very sincere about the manual labour, he has to perform during his prison time. As he is not from the category of those 3000 convicts residing in the jail, so he was used to do his cane weaving work seperately.
Sanjay Dutt is one of the highest paid actor of the bollywood. But still he accepted that 38.25 rupees of his labour. This shows that he has changed a lot and also that he is actually following Gandhiji’s vocals. Sanjay portrayed the character of a tapori in Lage Raho Munnabhai who can see Gandhiji.
His Gandhigiri instincts are still revolving in our mind. According to some sources, Sanjay used to perform the pooja in the morning time during his time in jail. As now he is released, we can hope that Sanjay will never get into any such act that will make him visit jail again.
