Sanjay Dutt seems to be stepping in Amitabh Bachchan’s shoes for the remake of Raj Sippy’s Satte Pe Satta. It’s been rumoured that Sanjay Dutt is going to play the lead role in the remake which was earlier played by Amitabh in original.

The movie is supposed to be titled Seven. According to Sanju Baba, Satte Pe Satta is one of his favourite movie and he is looking forward to work in the remake of this film. It’s been a noteworthy point that Satta Pe Satta was released at the time when Sanjay was just a newcomer in the hindi film industry.

According to sources, it was Sanjay’s idea to remake this yeateryear hit. Rani Mukherjee and Vidya Balan are in talk to play the female lead roles in this remake which were performed byHema Malini and Ranjeeta in original respectively.

But there would be some difference in the concept of this remake from the orginal one. Instead of seven brothers in original, remake will have four brothers and three sisters in it. Rest of the story will be as it is.
