NDTV Imagine has launched the TV adaptation of Seeta Aur Geeta ( the evergreen hit movie of Hema Malini in which she played the dual role of twin sisters ) filled with the humour, romance and thrill. The serial is being aired since May 25 from Monday to Friday at 7:30 pm. The serial is being produced by Sunil Bohra. NDTV Imagine is known for delivering shows with newer shades of entertainment everytime. And with this new TV show, the channel has once again provided its audiences a new excellent theme to enjoy. One of the important fact about the serial is thet Kasauti Zindagi Ki fame, Cezzane Khan, is making his comback with this serial.

The story of the serial is totally based on the cult movie Seeta Aur Geeta. Two twin sisters, Seeta and Geeta get seperated at their birth and grow up in completely different environments. Seeta is brought up under the cruel eye of her Chachi. She is tortured by her chachi in every possible way. On the otherhand, Geeta grows up on the streets of Mumbai and is a very brave girl by nature. He is capable of taking care of herself and also the needy people in her basti. One day, Seeta decides to escape from the house as her Chachi is planning to get her married with a cruel guy and ends up landing in Geeta’s basti. On the otherhand, Geeta accidently lands in Seeta’s house.

Beautiful Anjori Alagh is playing the lead roles of Seeta and Geeta in the TV serial while the other starcast of the serial includes Cezzane Khan, Gaurav Dixit, Sushmita Mukherjee, Rituraj Singh etc. Intially, TV Actress Mouni Roy was supposed to play the lead role in the serial but later she was replaced by a Anjori Alagh. Anjori has actually made her debut on the small screen with this serial. The serial contains every required element of audience’s interest in it.
