Shilpa Shetty is upset these days mainly due to the irresponsible way in which the media has behaved in the past few days. Just a few days back news broke out that she will be getting married by the end of the year and in no matter the ripples of the news reached everywhere. She says some channels even showed it as breaking news and the print media wasted so much paper on this false and baseless report.

She had to come out with the clarification that she will not be tying the knot with London-based businessman Raj Kundra by the end of the year. Even she does not know whether she would do that in the future. She also said that whenever her parents zero down on the date of her marriage she would happily share it with the entire media and her fans.

There would be a time for celebration but it is not now. She also said that why the media dragged in all this the name of her father. She said that he is now 76 years alone and has the right to live peacefully. There were reports saying that he had applied for a passport saying that he had to go to London for the marriage of her daughter. That is where all the news was generated.

His passport had been confiscated by the court after he threatened a person who owed money to Shilpa. Since then he has been asked to take permission from the court whenever he flies out of the country. Shilpa asked the media to be more responsible in what they report and only show the truth and not baseless assumptions.
