Shilpa was seen doing a number for the Dharma Production Movie ‘Dostana’. It won’t be any wrong to say that she appears more as guest appearances in movies rather than herself being in it.

But now Shilpa has taken a leap, much ahead of many of her counterparts. Reportedly, Shilpa’s leap will make her cross the Great Wall of China. According to the sources, Shilpa has signed an Indo-Chinese venture. The movie is named Desire. It is also heard that Shilpa is also very excited regarding this new venture; not only because this is an international project, but also because she will get an opportunity to share screen with one of the Chinese mainstream actor.

The Indo connection of the movie is Shilpa and the director of the movie. The director who will be directing the movie is a leading Malayalam film director R.Sarath. Meanwhile, Shilpa will have to learn Chinese language in hurry. She will also have to learn some action for the movie as her character requires her to perform some action sequences and stunts. She can seek help from Mallika Sherawat, who was seen sharing space with the Chinese superstar Jackie Chan.

Shilpa actually came in the International limelight after winning the reality show Big Brother. After that she received many international offers. She was also seen recently hosting an Indian reality show known as Big Brother. So though she is not doing the movies, but Shilpa has kept herself busy in something or the other.
