Shiney Ahuja who is doing his time inside a jail at this point of time after rape charges were pressed against him by his maid. He has been unable to prove his innocence and is presently a villain in the eyes of the people many of whom had charged him guilty even before court came out with the verdict. Now while he passes his time inside the jail he might look down and have a look in his career.

He might re live some of the performances he put in movies like Gangster, Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi and Woh Lamhe and then he might feel a bit disappointed after he takes a look at his misses. The movie that he will most regret passing on surely has to be Om Shanti Om in which he was offered the role of Mukesh who plays the film producer in the movie. Now getting to play a villain in a Shahrukh Khan flick is something not many actors would have passed.

He had his reasons though. He had just done a role with negative shades in the movie Gangster and he did not want to be branded as a villain as the industry can be very quick in stereotyping actors. He wanted to do solo hero flicks, which unfortunately now looks like a highly unlikely case. After he opted out of the part Arjun Rampal grabbed the opportunity with both hands.

His career might have taken a completely different path had he done the movie but now we cannot really tell what would have happened. Arjun might consider thanking Shiney, as he has not looked back since he gave a breathtaking performance in the movie playing the villain.
