Shyam Benegal is now directing an extremely different type of film as compared to his previous flicks. He is more known for making serious type cinema. But now he is directing a completely different kind of film named Mahadev Ka Sajjanpur which is supposed to be a mixture of both exaggeration and humour.

Shyam Benegal is famous for grabbing most of prestigious Indian as well as international awards under his wings. The movie stars Shreyas Talpade and Amrita Rao in it. The story of the movie is about a person who earns money by writing letter for uneducated people of the village, Sajjanpur.

Amrita Rao got an entry in the movie after getting a praise from Benegal for her look as well as performance in Vivah. Infact, Benegal was so impressed by this young lad of bollywood that he immmeditaley announced to cast her in his next film. This is infact second time when Benegal praised any bollywood actress after dhak-dhak girlMadhuri Dixit.

Earlier it was rumoured that Benegal got fascinated by Hrithik Roshan’s charm and offered him an international project titled Buddha. But later the project goes dabba band. Now let see whether this time Shreyas and Amrita will go lucky with the project or not.
